My Walk

Embarking on a deeper walk with Christ! Today I ask, I seek, I knock until the answer comes. I am surprised, yet not, that an answer does not immediately come. In this hurried immediate gratification we call life, one that I am so accustomed to, it comes as no surprise that I too want that kind of immediate hurried response. However, faith endures time and requires the simple act of trusting in God. Trusting that He will answer when His timing is right and not mine!  It also involves taking risks. Progress always involves taking risk. Mark Twain said, "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear." As Joyce Meyer states,"  Believing we are right with God through our faith in Jesus Christ is a new and living way, one that gives us freedom, boldness, and confidence." Mathew 7:7-8 says, " Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." Psalm 23:3 states, "He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name."James 1:4 says, " for when your patience is in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character full and complete." I have faith, God will reveal His vision for me and I will walk boldly with Him. Until then, I will continue to do my part, ask, seek, knock!!!
